Densely layered flavours of gently sweet blackberry fruits with quite savoury / earthy notes. This is a medium weight wine of great complexity and structure held together by firm, mouth-coating tannins. That regional menthol lift shows on the finish. |
| GENERAL |
Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon has spent in excess of 18 months maturing in a careful selection of old and new, predominantly French oak. This time in barrel gives the opportunity for the naturally pronounced tannins of the Cabernet grape to soften and integrate - however further cellaring is recommended (up to 8 years). |
