BOUQUET |
This wine shows aromas of pineapple, light tropical fruits and lovely grassy notes – typical of the variety. It is a rather delicate, almost restrained bouquet that opens up with time in the glass. |
PALATE |
Fresh, clean and light this is an easy drinking Sauvignon Blanc wine made in a deliciously dry style. There is forward zingy fruit in the mouth although the aromatics are understated, making it a great food wine. Flavours of dew-melon, ‘greener’ tropical notes and grassy highlights dominate the palate. |
GENERAL |
The Clare Valley produces quite forward Sauvignon Blanc yet the use of 40% Adelaide Hills fruit makes this wine a more restrained, food friendly drop. |
SERVE |
Great with simply prepared French style seafood; think grilled fish fillets with caper and herb butter or steamed mussels with garlic and white wine. |
