Winemaker - Marnie Roberts
Grape Variety - 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Region - 100% Adelaide Hills
Colour - Palest straw with light green hues
Bouquet - Fresh, lively and youthful – the bouquet of this wine is feijoa fruit, snap thistle and delicate dried herbs with pretty notes of white peach and jasmine.
Palate - Bright and fresh, we have crafted a multi-faceted Sauvignon Blanc with delicious layering of flavours. It possesses a real snow pea salad crunch overlaid with subtle lychee and more savoury dried parsley. A wine of serious depth with generous mid palate weight and appealing textural elements.
General - Acknowledging that the Adelaide Hills does Sauvignon Blanc best, led us to secure ongoing supply of quality higher altitude fruit from this famous region. Time on skins and some lees stirring gives this wine a more serious edge; weight and texture. Minimal intervention from this point has produced a wine of bright natural acidity, forward and appealing fruit flavours.
Serve With - We think that the textural style of this ‘Savvy’ pairs perfectly with pork dumplings and yum cha. Enjoy young and fresh (within 1-2 years)
